“Misery, and degradation, and death, and nothing that God or Satan could inflict would have parted us, you, of your own will did it. I have not broken your heart - you have broken it - and in breaking it, you have broken mine.”

The most unfair thing about life is the way it ends. I mean, life is tough. It takes up a lot of your time. What do you get at the end of it? A Death! What’s that, a bonus? I think the life cycle is all backwards. You should die first, get it out of the way. Then you live in an old age home. You get kicked out when you’re too young, you get a gold watch, you go to work. You work forty years until you’re young enough to enjoy your retirement. You do drugs, alcohol, you party, you get ready for high school. You go to grade school, you become a kid, you play, you have no responsibilities, you become a little baby, you go back into the womb, you spend your last nine months floating …and you finish off as an orgasm.

The Kansas Board of Education has approved a ban on all Pokémon trading cards, video games, and anything related that has the name Pokémon on it because of the belief that it promotes kids to believing in evolution. Teachers now must search their students daily to make sure they aren’t carrying anything with the name on it. Anything found will be permanently confiscated, that means you don’t get your game back Jack. On top of all of this, if you dare do something as evil as bring a Pokémon video game to school they have the right to suspend you or even expel you if you repeat this crime.

At first, churches around the area were handing out pamphlets to other parents warning them of the dangers of Pokémon. From there, they started protesting and sending letters to the big wigs in charge of the school system. These people meant business! They even had several Pokémon merchandise burnings at church events!

You voted, well three of you, 2 for Soda Star (maybe next time Starbucks). I’m sure others out there would say Ti’amo for gelato, the place next to it for bubble tea, the wine bar by Be Art, and maybe XO Bar for it’s tequila. Mine is a sake place that plays jazz just down from our winner.
